Note (not on pdf): 10A (White) tournaments: May 9-10 River Falls, WI; May 30-31 Inver Grove Heights; June 13-14 Rochester; June 20-21 Richfield.

Please note the number of teams at each level on the pdf above is an early projection based on the number of travel teams in 2019 and the anticipated number of returning players in 2020.  There could be changes based on the final number of 2020 participants.

Important Notices - Please read!

BY REGISTERING FOR TRAVEL BASEBALL, ATTENDING A UNIFORM FITTING SESSION, AND PARTICIPATING IN MARCH TRYOUTS, RYBA ASSUMES YOUR PLAYER IS FULLY COMMITTED TO BASEBALL DURING THE ENTIRE SEASON AND ANY POTENTIAL CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER SPORT WILL BE AVOIDED.

Also... In lieu of the changing landscape of youth baseball, it has become necessary to address the issues surrounding association/community and club baseball.  Should an RYBA player leave and play on a non-association (e.g., club) team during the RYBA season (starting May 1st), said player shall be deemed ineligible during that calendar year.  In addition, said player will also be considered a "transfer" player the following season and will be prioritized below any returning player.

For example: If there are 48 returning players (four teams of 12) and two "transfer" players trying out, those transfers will be cut from the tryout pool and returned to our house program.  This is true even if the "transfer" player scores higher than other returning players during the tryout process.   Returning players have priority over transfer players.

2020 Travel Update

What's new in 2020:
-  Tryouts return to the dome for two days in March.
-  New uniform tops designed by an RYBA player.
- 9AAA and 10AA teams will participate in the MBL.  (9AA and 10A will continue to play in the ZVL).
- 9U players will tryout once again at the dome on the same day(s) as the other ages.  This will allow earlier team formation and more practice time in April.

Both decisions regarding MBL participation and 9U tryouts were made after overwhelming feedback from families with players in 9U and 10AA last year.
